Who we are
BOMER LABS LIMITED ("Bomer Labs", "we", "us") is a company registered in Nigeria (RC 9840638), based in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria. We run this website. You can contact us about privacy at contact@bomerlabs.com.
What we collect and why
- Contact form. Your name, email, your idea, and optional stage and timeline. We use these to reply to you and discuss your project.
- Bome, our AI assistant. The messages you type are sent to our server and to our AI provider, OpenAI, to produce a reply. We do not store chat conversations on our servers. To make it easy to pick up where you left off, your browser saves the conversation on your own device (in your browser's local storage) for up to 30 days after you last used it. That copy stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it any time with the "New chat" button in the chat window or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. If several people use your device, please use "New chat" when you are done. If you review a draft scope and choose "Send to Bomer Labs", we receive your name, email, optional note and the draft scope by email, so we can contact you.
- Spam protection. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It may process technical information about your browser and connection.
- Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use cookies to track you across sites.
- Calendly and WhatsApp. If you click "Book a free call" or "Chat on WhatsApp", you leave our site and those services handle your data under their own policies.
Please don't share sensitive information
Don't put passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers or health information into the contact form or the chat.
Who processes your data for us
We use service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, security, analytics and email routing), OpenAI (AI replies in the chat) and Brevo (sending form and lead emails). Some of these providers are located outside Nigeria, so your data may be processed in other countries. OpenAI may keep chat inputs for a limited time under its own terms. We ask it not to store them, but you should read its privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal basis
We process your data with your consent (for example when you submit the form or confirm a draft scope) and for our legitimate interests in running and securing this site and replying to enquiries.
How long we keep it
Emails you send us are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our business records. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@bomerlabs.com and we will respond. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This website is not meant for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
